How To Build “6-Pack Authority”
The "6-pack shortcut" to easy revenue
(Read time: 5.3 minutes)
Hey, good morning. Andrew again.
Today we’ll cover:
The truth on why millions bought into lies about "5-minute belly fat destroyers"
The secret question that'll make your copy connect like a mind reader
6 sneaky ways to build "6-Pack Authority"
Let’s get into it.
One of the first things you should ask yourself is:
“What can I say is true about my reader, and what do they know?”
It’s crucial you understand their Awareness Level:
Why’s this important?
Picture this:
You’re posting a YouTube video titled “How To Build a Personal Brand on LinkedIn”.
If you start off talking about the power of personal branding…
Your video will tank.
Your viewer searched for and/or clicked this video — so they already believe in the power of personal branding (and will get bored if you start with that).
Instead, hook ‘em by talking about how they can get a desired result:
"The counterintuitive LinkedIn strategy that tripled my inbound leads"
The 3-step formula I used to gain 1,000 LinkedIn followers in 30 days"
"Why your LinkedIn profile is invisible (and the simple tweaks to make it pop)"
Put simply:
If your prospect is looking for a Coke Zero, give it to them. Offer them an orange juice, and you’ve lost them instantly.
You ever see Six Pack Shortcuts?
That jacked asian dude, glistening with baby oil, flexing his abs in every video.
This guy didn't just get views…
He got MILLIONS of views, subscribers, and dollars.
Why?
Look at the dude's physique – he's stacked. He MUST know what he's talking about, right?
"Scientists in China have discovered a revolutionary new 'shortcut' to six pack abs!"
Now, did scientists really discover a secret?
Is his "5 min belly fat DESTROYER" legit?
Nope.
There is no shortcut to a 6-pack. And you can't choose where to lose fat – spot reduction is a common myth.
But here's the kicker:
Despite these pretty blatant lies, people still bought in.
Why?
Because his physique gave him authority.
We trust and follow him simply because he looks the part.
So how do you build “6-Pack Authority” for your biz?
Let me explain…
Imagine you're cold emailing prospects.
These are the most conservative buyers you'll ever pitch. When your message pops up in their inbox, their first thought is:
"Who the hell is this guy making big claims in my inbox?"
Trust level?
Lower than Barbados Slim’s limbo.
If you get this reference, you’re amazing
And here's where authority comes in.
If you've got a solid offer, they'll Google you. They'll check your:
Socials
Landing page
YouTube
And if they pull up your account to find thousands of followers and content that proves competence? Suddenly, it's
"Okayyy, this guy is legit."
They'll hit you back because you’ve won their trust.
Having authority will skyrocket your conversion rates faster than you can say "gimmie the money."
So where do you start?
6 ways to build “6-Pack Authority” so you can win trust (and 10x your conversion rates):
Run ads on your OWN YouTube videos: It's like getting a free pitch to people who already know, like, and trust you. Super effective. Check out Daniel Fazio and Charlie Morgan for this.
Content domination: Post regularly and 'own' a specific part of your niche. Be the person everyone thinks of when they hear your topic.
Build your personal brand: Your face, your voice, your style – make it recognizable and trustworthy.
Send emails: Hit your list frequently with high-value content that shows you know your stuff inside and out. Emails are a direct line to your prospect’s subconscious.
Leverage testimonials: As Cialdini says, "Multiply it. Find two experts who are saying that what you have or your idea is a good thing, and you multiply the impact as a result."
Lead with authority: Put those expert testimonials first in your presentations. Let that aura of authority set the tone from the get-go.
Becoming an authority isn't about having a six-pack (unless you're in the fitness niche).
It's about consistently demonstrating your expertise and building trust with your audience.
